If you still can't dock, you possibly could have a glitched ship or AM.ĭepleted, depressurized Outposts/modules you dock/grapple to will consume your onboard resources if you do not turn off your LS. Continue slowely and it should dock without issue. At about 5m if you need to line up to see the inner door slow down and adjust (keeping rotational movement locked).ġ1. Slowely approach AM looking for the inner door window of the AM.ġ0. Move up/down left/ right to center the door in the HUD breaking the "Speed Match"ĩ. Rotate on x/y axis while still speed matched until the outer HUD circle has no green/red correction indicators.Ĩ. There are a number of keyboard shortcuts / keyboard controls that offer alternatives for mouse control of the EVE client. Reason: update for latest photon UI keys and disabling 3D graphics. Toggle through the targets until you select the correct AM. This page should be updated due to game changes. The AM should be visible directly ahead.Ħ. Tab out and click on the "Docking" button. (Radar target will move to the top, lined up with the y axis).ĥ. Note: Make sure the refinery station does not have an orange container equiped - it will not allow you to hang the jetpack next to the screen if it has a container in the slot on the left. (Radar target should be directly right, lined up on the x axis of the radar screen).Ĥ. Interact with the panel, switch to Slot 1, drag-and-drop oxygen/nitrogen from either Cargo or Active Systems section into their corresponding slot. Get in the chair, turn 90 degrees on horizontal CCW (counter clockwise). Get ouf of the chair and turn off LS on ship. Moving the ship (Pilot view) to the chosen AM I line up as close to horizontal/verticle facing the outer door about 80m away and "Speed Match".Ģ. When docking it will indicate not only the rotational orientation along the x-axis, but the y-axis as well (right/left, up/down).ġ. In seat I select docking, choose R to select airdock not grapple. I power up the ship and go to flight deck. With the airlock closed I spacewalk over to the ship and enter ship closing airlock. I can connect the airlock module to the outpost without any problems. The outer red/green circle on the HUD is the orientation. New game, I space walk over to the airlock, using the control panel on the outside, use module RCS to move module. I can generally be docked up in a few minutes after warping in. Both Docking switches should be orange.I think. Make sure you actually have the AM attached to your Outpost correctly oriented (Airlock pointing out.not sure if you can even attach it the other way.) If you have more than 2 AMs attached, are you targeting the correct one. Not sure about these, but make sure both airlocks are pressurized. The glitch that causes no target to dock to is easily fixed with a relog, but If you are lined up properly the magnetic lock should grab and finish the job once the ship is close enough. Very crowded builds or many stations in close proximity will tend to cause more rapid desync.Don't understand why this stuff is so hard. In SP, there is technically a server process running, but it is imperfectly synchronized and will 'drift' out of sync over time. Reloading the world tends to fix a LOT of issues, particularly quest-related, but also the gradual desync that occurs between the client and the server. We are still actively working to address these issues fully and Issue Council reports on the problems are greatly appreciated. The small add-on modules are not useful on their own, so far as I know.Įdit 2: If you're back at your home base, make sure everything's speed is matched, quicksave (if in SP), then reload (SP) or reconnect (MP). 1 hour ago Updated Below are some of the issues and bugs that we are aware of within Star Citizen Alpha 3.19.x. The large bay has two enormous doors for ingress and egress, while the add-on module has a single docking port that can only marry up to the cargo bay. One of them is for actually mating to a station, while the others are for mating to small add-on cargo containers.Įdit: Remember, there's the actual cargo bay itself, then the small add-on modules. Oh, I know this one! You need to press R to cycle through the available docking points on the cargo bay itself. Cargo Bay Module 400 CM-AC Command Module 350 CQM-AC Crew Quarters Module 125 FM-AC.
